Risk Disclosure
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Participating in group contributions and shared investments through groups that use Blumva involves significant risk. Please read this carefully. By using Blumva, you acknowledge and accept the risks below.
You can lose money
The value of shared assets and ventures can fall as well as rise. You may lose some or all of the money you contribute. Only commit funds you can afford to lose entirely.
No guaranteed returns
No return, income, yield, or profit is promised or guaranteed by Blumva or by any group. Any figures, targets, or past results shown are illustrative only and are not a reliable indicator of future performance.
Blumva does not vet or endorse opportunities
Blumva does not create, verify, assess, endorse, or recommend any group, administrator, or opportunity. Responsibility for evaluating any opportunity rests entirely with the group and its members. Conduct your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice.
Group, administrator, and counterparty risk
When you participate through a group, you rely on that group, its administrators, and your fellow members. Risks include mismanagement, negligence, internal disputes, misuse of funds, misrepresentation, or fraud by administrators or members. Deal only with groups and people you know and trust.
Illiquidity and limited exit
Interests coordinated through Blumva are generally illiquid. Blumva does not operate a public secondary market, and there may be no way to sell, transfer, or exit your position when you wish. Your funds may be committed for extended and uncertain periods.
Asset-specific risks
Real estate, private ventures, and similar assets carry risks including illiquidity, vacancy, non-completion, adverse valuation changes, delays, project failure, and total loss of capital. Loans arranged between members of a group carry the risk that a borrower does not repay.
No custody and no compensation scheme
Blumva does not hold your funds. No deposit insurance, investor-protection, or compensation scheme covers activity coordinated through Blumva. Protections available (if any) depend on the licensed third-party partners handling payments or custody, not on Blumva.
Third-party and operational risk
Blumva relies on third-party payment providers, custodians, and technology services. Their failure, delay, error, insolvency, or security breach could affect access to funds or records. Technology systems may also experience downtime or errors.
Currency and cross-border risk
Where contributions, holdings, or payouts involve more than one currency or cross borders, you are exposed to exchange-rate movements, transfer delays, fees, and the payment and foreign-exchange rules of the relevant jurisdictions.
Regulatory risk
Laws affecting group investing, cooperatives, payments, and digital platforms are evolving and may change. Such changes could affect the availability, cost, structure, or legality of certain activities. Each group is responsible for its own regulatory compliance.
Tax
You are responsible for determining and meeting your own tax obligations arising from any contribution, distribution, gain, or loss. Blumva does not provide tax advice.
Not advice
Nothing provided by Blumva is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Before participating, consider seeking advice from a licensed professional.
Acknowledgement
By using Blumva, you confirm that you have read and understood these risks, that you are participating through a private group or registered cooperative of your own choosing, and that you accept full responsibility for your participation.
